Shipping Policy
At Leisure Space Furniture, we coordinate local delivery and freight shipping with a focus on scheduling accuracy, delivery access, and clear communication. This Shipping Policy explains order processing, delivery service levels, local delivery tiers, freight arrangements, and customer responsibilities.
Order Processing and Delivery Timing
Orders enter processing and delivery scheduling after full payment is received. Processing and scheduling may vary based on product availability, supplier release timing, payment verification, delivery access, and order volume.
After full payment is received, delivery is generally completed in 2 to 7 business days, subject to availability, scheduling, and delivery access.
If a supplier requires more than 7 business days to release an item for shipment or delivery, we will notify you using the contact information provided with your order. All shipping and delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to weather, traffic, carrier operations, customs processing, supplier timing, or supply chain disruptions.
Local Delivery Tiers
We offer local delivery for eligible orders within a 60-mile radius of our Santa Fe Springs location.
Free Local Delivery Options
- Orders of $1,500 or more before tax: Free local delivery within 20 miles.
- Orders of $2,500 or more before tax: Free local delivery within 40 miles.
- Orders under $1,500, or deliveries beyond 40 miles and up to 60 miles: Delivery fees apply and will be quoted after order review or provided before scheduling.
Freight Shipping Outside the Local Delivery Area
For delivery addresses outside our local delivery area, we may arrange shipping through third-party freight or delivery partners. Freight options depend on the product category, destination, carrier coverage, and delivery access conditions.
If your order is being delivered outside our local delivery area, please contact us before ordering or as soon as possible after purchase so we can review available shipping options and provide a freight quote if needed.
Delivery Service Levels
Standard Threshold Delivery
Unless otherwise arranged in writing and paid in advance, deliveries are provided as standard threshold delivery. Standard threshold delivery means your order is delivered to the front door, ground-floor entrance, or first reasonably accessible safe delivery area at the shipping address.
Standard threshold delivery does not include:
- Placement inside the home
- Room-of-choice delivery
- Carrying items upstairs or downstairs
- Assembly or installation
- Unpacking, packaging removal, or debris disposal
White Glove Delivery Service
White Glove delivery is available as a paid upgrade for eligible orders. This service may include bringing the item inside the home, placement in a specific room, and assembly, depending on the product and delivery location.
To request White Glove delivery, you must contact your sales representative or customer service before delivery is scheduled. White Glove service is subject to availability and requires advance approval.
White Glove pricing is quoted based on delivery access and service requirements, including whether stairs are involved, product handling requirements, and assembly complexity. You may request a quote first and then decide whether to add the White Glove upgrade.
White Glove, delivery, and related service fees are non-refundable once scheduled or performed.
Customer Responsibilities Before Delivery
To help ensure a successful delivery, you are responsible for:
- Providing accurate shipping and contact information
- Ensuring an adult age 18 or older is available to receive the delivery
- Confirming that entryways, hallways, stairwells, elevators, and the intended placement area can accommodate the item
- Confirming that the delivery location is accessible and safe for the delivery team or carrier
- Disclosing known access restrictions before delivery, including gates, stairs, elevators, loading zones, or appointment requirements
Delivery Inspection and Claims
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
To help us review the issue, please provide:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- Clear photos of the item
- Clear photos of the packaging and shipping label
- Photos showing any visible damage or discrepancy
Failure to report shipping damage, concealed damage, missing parts, or incorrect items within 48 hours may affect claim review and resolution options.
Missed Deliveries and Access Issues
If a scheduled delivery cannot be completed because no recipient is available, access is restricted, or delivery conditions differ from the information originally provided, additional re-delivery, storage, handling, or return charges may apply.
Special-Order Items
Authorized Dealer for select Ashley products. Any item not stocked in our warehouse and ordered from a supplier specifically to fulfill your order is considered a special-order item. Special-order items are final sale and may not be canceled, returned, refunded, or exchanged once committed with the supplier, except where required by law or in cases of confirmed damage, defect, or shipment error.
Returns Related to Delivery Services
Approved returns are subject to our Refund Policy. Eligible returns require original packaging.
If a return is approved for a non-defective item, the customer may be responsible for return shipping charges, freight charges, re-delivery charges, restocking fees, and other applicable service costs. Original delivery charges, White Glove fees, assembly charges, and related service fees are non-refundable.
